Ernesto Kamminga
Has an amazing watercraft, his main job is to find and observe animals. Through this he has got a huge knowledge about the behaviour of a host of animals. He has put this into his own carp fishing and if there´s any carp out there he will catch them.
His enormous knowledge and experience with carp food where he has put more than 20 years work and money in, brings him together with his watercraft on every water an edge against other anglers. Thereby he is a modest, reserved but very friendly guy, who nearly don´t speak about his incredible successes over the last couple of years.

Age: 36 years
Years carp fishing: I caught my first carp when I was 8 years old and from that time on, I was infected with the “carpvirus”. So I am now carpfishing for 28 years on the carp.
PB: 60lb 2 oz caught in a major public water short drive from where I live. I have been to France once (1991) and never again the biggest carp was 48lb and 8oz. I have been several times to Italy and my biggest fish from Italy is 53lb. To be honest I prefer to fish close to home, so I have made no more trips in recent years.
Favourite venues: Large public waters, with much natural beauty surrounded by a cloud of mystery.
Favourite Rigs: Choddy bottom bait style
Favourite baits: Self made boilies
Other interests: My family, my wife Silvia and my two daughters, Larisa and Prescilla.
Influences: In my first years of carpfishing, Rod Hutchinson and Kevin Madocks. But together with Jan Hendrik Bloem I have discovered new ways, which have led to great success.
